Stardew Valley Mods

Install SMAPI

Download the Stardew Valley Modding API from Here. Extract the SMAPI 3.18.1 installer directory, open it and run the appropriate shell file for your operating system(for windows, that's 'install on Windows.bat').

If prompted, you'll need to supply your game directory. Information on how to find this can be found at the end of this guide. When orompted, type '1' to install SMAPI.

Install Mods

Download our modpack from Here. Extract the Mods directory and move the Mods directory to your Stardew Valley game directory(information on how to find this will be available at the end of this guide).

Launching With Mods

As will be mentioned in part by the SMAPI installer, there are two ways to launch Stardew Valley with mods.

Option 1(launch directly): Open your Stardew Valley game directory and run StardewModdingAPI.exe.

Option 2(steam): Right click Stardew Valley in your steam library and click "Properties". At the bottom of the "General" page is a text field labeled "Launch Options". In the field, place this line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command%

Notice: If your game is in another directory, you'll have to change the launch option in Option 2 to launch via Steam.

Warning: If running on Mac OS, the game will be launched via steam always, there are no manual options.

Finding Game Directory

If you don't know where your game is, you can find it via Steam. Find the game in your Steam library, right click on the game and go to "Manage -> Browse Local Files". Steam will open the game directory, at which point you may copy the path from your file explorers URL bar and paste it where you need it.

Notice: The main game directory will be the directory containing Stardew Valley.exe, make sure it is or some steps may not work.
